Guests

Total Guests, 2023 to 2025

Everyone who bought a ticket in the three years, grouped by their standing with the A-Train. Members hold a current membership. Lapsed Members held one in an earlier year and are still coming. Non-Members have not joined yet. The three groups behave very differently, and the difference is where the opportunity is.

Method and limits

Guest identity
The Customer ID in the workbook, taken as final. Duplicate email records were merged and IDs re-issued before the export, so the ID is treated as one person and not mapped any further.
The three groups
Measured for each year. A guest is a Member if they hold a membership that year, a Lapsed Member if they held one in an earlier year but not this one, and a Non-Member if they have never held one. A guest can move between groups from year to year, which is the point.
Guest value
Tickets they paid for plus the food and beverage recorded against their table. It does not include the value of free member admissions, so a member's figure here is money taken, not benefit received.
Names
Nothing published here carries a name. The control at the top reads your own file inside your browser and joins the names on screen. It is never uploaded, and closing the tab clears it.
